Karl Rove: Spinner-in-Chief

Karl Rove was on Fox News Sunday this morning to defend his statements on Charlie Rose that Congress was in a rush to pass the Iraq War (Resolution) Authorization Bill before the 2002 election and not the President. Think Progress, as always, discredited Rove’s remarks as did Bush former Chief of Staff Andrew Card. Rove, who is quite the history buff, prefers his own interpretation of history than the truth. Democratic Senator Tom Daschle was the warmonger and not Bush according to Rove.

Of course, my favorite part of his appearance is at the beginning of this video when Democratic Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) asks Rove to "take this opportunity to retract his (Rove's) outrageous statements." Rove responds, "Do you really need to touch me every time?" Don’t touch him! Don’t touch him! Stop invading his personal space on national tv. HA! Perhaps dear Rove now understands why a majority of the American people hate the Bush Administration from invading OUR personal space all the time. Probably not!
